Duncan

I found my black lab mix Duncan (his name was Philip before I changed it) through an adoption ad posted by Planned Pethood on Craigslist in April 2008. Duncan was three months old when I adopted him from your office.  He is now well on his way to two years old and is a happy and healthy young adult.

I am writing to tell you that Duncan is the best dog in the universe.  We have so much fun together! We often hike together in the mountains, we play fetch every day at the open fields by my house (he is OBSESSED with tennis  alls), and I recently taught him to swim at the Scott Carpenter Park swimming pool. He has free reign in my house and even sleeps on my bed at night.

Duncan continues to bring more joy into my life than I ever thought possible.  Thank you so much for letting me adopt such a wonderful, affectionate dog from your office.

I have attached some pictures of me and my wonderful dog.  Again, thank you so much for providing me with the best companion I have ever had, whom I continue to shower with adoration.

Sincerely,

Nicole Friess

Argie

Argie, formerly known as Abe came into our lives on September 17th 2009.  All of our pups are patients at Planned Pethood Plus and my husband was getting some medicine for one of our dogs on September 16th when he saw Argie.  My husband ran home and drug me back to the clinic to see the puppy.  Of course, I was sold right then and there and I am still being sold ever second with Argie.  We also have a baby girl whose name is Maya (she is a boxer mix/almost 3 years old) and they absolutely adore each other.  We've just lost Fudge our third puppy, a 14 year old chocolate lab/chesapeake mix.  Thanks to Argie, things have been just a little easier on us, especially for Maya as she took Fudge's death pretty hard.

We just wanted to let everyone at Planned Pethood Plus know that Argie is doing wonderful.  He is now 32 lbs compared to the 20 lbs when we first got him.  He is great and is in love with our Maya.  He has lots of toys, four doggie beds, lots of love and his favorite food.  It is indescribable of the amount of love and joy he brings in all of our lives!
